SHL House opened in 1999 in Sarajevo, in the so-called ‘Stup’ neighbourhood, and was built by German students to provide a neutral space where young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe could come into contact with each other – regardless of their ethnicity, religion or other backgrounds.
The SHL House was fully renovated in 2019.

The house offers the possibility for youth groups to network and to hold seminars. The house can also be rented by groups from Germany: it offers the possibility of overnight stays and accommodation for youth and young adults. It is particularly appropriate for organising seminars, trainings, workshops and other forms of non-formal education for young people.
The rental income can be used to finance youth and educational projects.
Further information you can find on the website of the project.
